MLR presents solenoid testing and diagnostic services for the BMW E46 M3 SMG II hydraulic system, capable of examining both proportional pressure control valves and directional control valves. These services are performed by experienced technicians who specialize in these systems.
A malfunctioning solenoid valve in the SMG II hydraulic system could generate issues such as the vehicle’s inability to shift gears, failure of the shift and clutch adaptation sequences, and computer fault codes related to the selector angle.
Our comprehensive diagnostic procedure includes testing for leaks across the solenoid and o-rings, along with a thorough functional test. If a solenoid passes all tests, we’ll replace all o-rings with our premium viton grade seals. In case of any test failures, we provide guidance for the next steps.
